Inner Spa has recently changed hands and is under the ownership of Cathy Windland, Windland Enterprises, Inc. While ownership has changed hands, the Newtown-based wellness day spa will continue to operate with the high quality standards clients have come to know and appreciate.

Located in Newtown, Inner Spa is a fully organic, holistic, day spa featuring a wide array of detoxification, cleansing and therapeutic services. The Spa is one of the only facilities in the area to offer colon hydrotherapy.  Inner Spa is an eco-friendly spa, incorporating green practices into every aspect of its business, including the use of all-natural and organic products in all treatments. 

Inner Spa History

Many years ago, Inner Spa founder, Sharon Cross, was experiencing extreme fatigue. Conventional medical test results were inconclusive for any issues so her doctor basically diagnosed her with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. No medical physician could explain WHY she had the fatigue. Their only recommendation consisted of using prescription medication.  

It was at that point in her life that Sharon decided to take matters into her own hands and began researching alternative and holistic practices.  She started her body on detoxification programs through the use of herbal cleanses, dietary changes, colon hydrotherapy, and a host of alternative cleansing regimens.

Within weeks Sharon felt a significant difference in her health. Within a few months she was feeling more like her old self. It became evident to her that the underlying cause for her fatigue was toxicity. Her body had been toxic and was no longer able to handle the filtration and processing of these toxins as it had always done in the past. The result was an overload on her system which manifested itself as fatigue.

"It was at the time of my own healing that I realized I wanted to change direction in my nursing career and offer others the option to enhance their well-being through colon hydrotherapy and natural cleansing methods."
