Spa FAQs

What to Expect – Spa Etiquette

How much do I tip for each service?

Guests who are pleased with the services received may give a customary tip of 15% to 20% to each therapist who provides services.  While gratuities are customary for spa services, they are always up to your discretion.  Cash is preferred.

Why do I have to give a credit card when I make my appointment?

We are happy to book your appointment without requiring pre-payment.  However, we require a credit card number in order to hold an appointment reservation.  We do require first-time guests to pre-pay 50% of the services(s) booked.

What if I have to cancel my appointment?

We are happy to help you reschedule a previously booked appointment.  We require at least 24 hours advanced notice to cancel or change an appointment with no change fee.  There will be a 50% charge for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and a 100% charge for no shows.

How early do I need to arrive for my scheduled appointment(s)?

We encourage you to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to begin your relaxation.  First-time guests should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to complete paperwork.  Please ask at the time of booking if there are any special arrival procedures that need to be followed based on your appointment(s).

What happens if I arrive late to my appointment(s)?

When you book an appointment, we reserve time just for you.  If you arrive late for an appointment, we cannot guarantee the full treatment time, but we will be happy to provide the remaining time reserved for you or reschedule your appointment; a $30 fee will apply.

Do packages have to be used within a specific time period?

Package services do have expiration dates that are explained at the time of purchase.  Generally speaking, packages expire 1 year/6 months/90 days from the date of purchase as per the package parameters.  Body cleanse programs are good for seven days longer than the number of days in the cleanse program.  Always ask your therapist or a team member to verify your package expiration.  Package sessions cannot be transferred to other services or clients; this policy applies to prepaid services as well.

Can I share a package with a family member?

Unfortunately, our system does not allow for sharing of sessions.  All package services/sessions must be used by the individual who purchases or they were purchased for.  Services/sessions in a package may not be transferred.

Do you offer any specials?

All of our services are value priced; this means the pricing is reflective of the value you receive.  From time to time, we do offer specials, and when we do, we notify clients via our monthly email newsletter.  Specials are valid only for the dates noted and cannot be combined with other offers or package promotions.

Can I request a specific therapist?

Our team of professionals support one another, so if you’d like to work with a specific therapist, please feel free to do so without concern.  Our goal is to partner with you on your health journey, so you may consider experiencing treatment from different therapists from time to time.

Can I purchase gift certificates?

Inner Spa gift certificates are the perfect gift for any occasion!  Inner Spa gift certificates may be purchased online or in the Spa and they are redeemable for services and products only.  Inner Spa gift certificates must be presented at the time of the appointment and expire per the certificate parameters.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Inner Spa gladly accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) and cash for services rendered and/or product purchased.

What to Expect with Cleansing Services

What can I expect during a cleansing session?

You can expect to be treated professionally and personally in a clean, warm and cozy environment.  At Inner Spa, each cleansing therapy is provided with you in mind.  Our goal is to help you relax so your body can rejuvenate naturally.  Your spa therapist will guide you through each therapy to ensure the best possible results of cleansing.

What products do you use in your cleansing services?

As a wholistic wellness day spa, we use only all-natural and organic products to deliver each of our cleansing services.  As each service requires different products, you are welcome to ask your spa therapist about any of the products for your session.  Aromatherapy is part of each service and can be tailored to your fragrance preferences.

How long is a cleansing service?

Our cleansing services vary in length depending on the service being provided.  They are either 30, 45 or 120-minutes long and each is guided by a well-trained spa therapist.

How often should I get cleansing services?

This is all based on individual need and goals.  We encourage you to speak with your spa therapist for suggestions and guidance.  You may also schedule a consultation with the owner and detoxification specialist to discuss cleansing programs that may be right for you.

Are there products I need to purchase?

While we do care a full array of retail products for at-home use, there is never any obligation to purchase products from us following your service(s).  Each time you visit Inner Spa for services, our therapists will suggest products that will help you continue your progress in between sessions.  All of the products we offer met our high standards of performance and efficacy so you can always be assured of quality and results.

Is there anything I need to do after a cleansing service?

Everyone is different so there is no one answer to this question.  In fact, we always tell people to listen to their body after any service as that is the best way for it to heal naturally.  Any after-care instructions for a specific cleansing service will be given by your spa therapist following your session.  We do suggest you increase your water intake to aid the cleansing process and take a good daily probiotic to help balance the gut.
